Maxim Mrvica

Maksim was born in Croatia. He is one of the world's best-selling classical crossover pianists. He studied at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and the Alexandre Scriabin Academy of Music in Paris, where he was an early promising pianist, later winning the Croatian national competition and the Rubinstein International Piano Competition in France. He signed his first contract with music label EMI and released the album Piano Player. It also received a double platinum disc in Hong Kong, platinum discs in Taiwan and Croatia, and gold discs in South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China and many other countries.
